Technical Specifications for Acrylic Mirror Sheets

At present, the full size of acrylic mirror sheet is normally in the range of 1220*1830mm or 1220*2440mm, which is determined by the size of the acrylic sheet which made into mirror sheet. DHUA offers custom cutting processing of any size and shapes.

As for the thickness of acrylic mirror sheets, normally our thickness range is 1 – 6mm, the most commonly used is 1-3mm, some customers also inquiry 5-6mm, which is to make the acrylic mirror thicker. Thicker acrylic mirrors have better rigidity and can maintain relatively better optical integrity. Due to the limitations of the production process, acrylic sheet has a certain thickness tolerance. Our acrylic mirror sheet thickness tolerances are 0.2-0.4mm. The more accurate tolerance you can ask for.

For the color of acrylic mirror sheets, the most common acrylic mirror is gold and silver colored acrylic mirror, and the rose gold mirror sheet was once very popular. We can offer custom colored acrylic mirror if you provide color number or drawing or sample. The traditional acrylic mirror chromatic aberration is detected by visual method, the visual color measurement results will be affected by lighting source conditions and subjective factors, resulting in chromatic aberration detection results deviation.  And due to the limitations of colored acrylic mirror production process, the same colored acrylic mirror sheet from different batches will inevitably appear relatively small color difference. 

Acrylic has high transparency and light transmittance of 92%.  For the transparency of acrylic mirrors, we can offer customized mirrors according to the needs of customers. We can produce 5-35% semi-transparent see-thru acrylic mirror, the degree error is ±2%.
