AR – Scratch Resistant Coating

Hard coatings or anti-scratch coatings are more properly called abrasion resistant coatings. Our AR Scratch Resistant Coating significantly increases the abrasion resistance and chemical resistance of the sheet while maintaining the outstanding properties associated with DHUA acrylic or other plastic sheet, and extends the service life of the product.

Abrasion resistance coated acrylic or other plastic sheet is the perfect choice when protection from scratching is a paramount concern. Available with coating on one or both sides, it is ideally suited for applications that require abrasion, stain and solvent resistance. 

Anti-Fog Coating

DHUA provides Anti-fog hard coating which is a crystal clear coating offering lasting, superior resistance to fogging and it is custom formulated for polycarbonate sheet, polycarbonate film, it’s a water-washable coating and compatible with mirror coating treatments. Its application is very wild in visor area, such as safety eyewear, masks & face shields, electronics applications and so on.

Mirror Coating

A thin film of aluminum is applied to the substrate, and is protected by a clear protective coating. The film can be either opaque to create a high-quality reflective surface, or semi-transparent for two-way visibility, also known as a two-sided mirror. Typically the coated substrate is acrylic, and other plastic substrates such as PETG, Polycarbonate and Polystyrene sheet can be coated to create these same effects.
